Hostel on the Island
The custom of organising school trips to big cities, which constitute important national cultural heritage, is slowly disappearing. This is caused by the mistaken opinion that it is impossible to find cheap accommodation for a group of kids in a city frequented by foreign tourists.
Fortunately, this is not true. The hostel used to be a tenement house, which was the seat of a boarding-school after the Second World War. In 2000, the building became property of the Polish Society of Youth Hostels (PTSM), and was renovated and adapted in a model way by the INTEGER company. In the same building there is the Mill Inn, where you can eat a good meal. This fact and proximity of inexpensive bars and grocers shops make this place worth a recommendation.
