Tumski Hotel – as whole Wroclaw – is rich in multicultural character. Its history dates back to the late XIX century, when in 1885 the building joined with a shop and a locksmith’s bench was designed according to the project of H.Moritz i H.Drescher. In the twenties of the last century, there was elected "Rheno-Palatia" Heimverein e.v., a building serving the Catholic Corporation uniting students from Rhineland-Palestine, and studying in Wroclaw.
Already then the complex was almost self-sufficient – there was a dining room, bedrooms, reading room, kitchen, banquet hall and something for which Wroclaw has always been know for – a small brewery! Almost undamaged by the II World War together with the neighbouring apartment it was converted into a Milling School and Technical Boarding-School of Food.
The former glory was regained only in 2000, when the Integer company conducted a thorough, thoughtful and responsible revaluation of the building. Then the building got a new destination, becoming one of the most beautiful hotels in Wroclaw.
Tumski Hotel is right here, where Wroclaw began.
